V-Tech Solutions, Inc., received a contract award from the District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Services (DBH) to provide Registered Nurses II (RN II) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP).
V-Tech Solutions, Inc., received a contract award from AmeriHealth Caritas District of Columbia, Inc. (“AmeriHealth DC”) to provide face-to-face and/or telephone community-based, targeted outreach to children and families in the DC Medicaid program.
V-Tech Solutions, Inc. has secured a contract with the District of Columbia's Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) to provide nursing services to the Division of Student Transportation (DOT). We will provide OSSE-DOT with licensed District of Columbia nurses and LPNs. They will be responsible for assisting students with disabilities or other related conditions as identified in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) during transport. The objective for OSSE’s transportation team is to “provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services that positively support learning opportunities for eligible students from the District of Columbia.”
On Friday, January 17th, V-Tech Solutions, Inc., won the 2020 HUBZone Small Business of the Year- Urban America award. The award was presented at the HUBZone Contractors National Council Industry Awards Gala held at Morgan State University. The purpose of the gala was to celebrate and raise awareness for the HUBZone program while highlighting the contributions and employment opportunities HUBZone companies bring to under-served communities. The keynote speaker of the night was Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), a strong advocate for the HUBZone program and the small business community.
V-Tech Solutions, Inc., has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) community. As a member of the Amazon Partner Network (APN), V-Tech can now offer AWS cloud technology and services to local governments, federal agencies and private corporations. Additionally, V-Tech enhanced its partnership with AWS Training to provide advanced technological skills to unemployed, under-employed and veteran jobs seekers. V-Tech is leveraging its existing relationship with DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) to offer free cloud certification training to interested candidates.
V-Tech Solutions, Inc., received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the District of Columbia Department on Disability Services (DDS) to provide Personal Care Assistant Services for persons with physical and/or mental impairment. The focus of the program is to ensure District residents with disabilities or hardship have the necessary assistance needed so that they can gain employment with adequate accommodation to meet their personal and professional needs.
In response to the opioid crises which has hit hard in the District of Columbia, the Office of Behavioral Health (DBH) has launched the Community Response Team (CRT). The CRT will offer 24/7 support to provide outreach support services, assessments, consultations, treatment encouragement, and offer less threatening alternatives such as naloxone. In addition to health related services, a criminal justice diversion component will reduce the likelihood of incarceration for behavioral health related offenses.
Victor P. Holt, President and CEO of V-Tech Solutions, Inc. (V-Tech), has been accepted into the 2019 Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Small Business University (MWAA SBU). This 7-week program offers executive level coursework to deserving high potential business owners in the District of Columbia. The purpose of the program is to "build community, capacity and capital for regional entrepreneurs". Through George Mason University, successful graduates are awarded a non-credit MWAA BSU Executive Certification.

The CBE certification allows V-Tech to receive preferred procurement and contracting opportunities. The District directs spending to DC-based businesses that support and contribute to job creation and the city tax base, which in turn results in a stronger local economy. Each agency, including an agency that contracts or procures through the Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), must exercise its contracting and procurement authority. It must meet, on an annual basis, the goal of procuring and contracting 50 percent of the dollar volume of its goods and services, including construction goods and services, to Small Business Enterprises (SBEs).
